MercyOne North Iowa names two new executives to senior leadership team North Iowa, Iowa (IA – MercyOne

Mason City, Iowa – MercyOne North Iowa recently filled two executive leadership positions on its senior leadership team after the recent retirement of Dr. Teresa Mock, Senior Vice President of MercyOne Medical Group-North Iowa.
Dr. Jeffrey Doolittle was hired as the Executive Medical Director for MercyOne Medical Group-North Iowa. In this role, he provides leadership, Vision and strategic direction. He will also maintain a clinical practice at MercyOne Forest Park Family Medicine on a part-time basis.

Dr. Doolittle has been a family medicine physician for 18 years, most recently as the Associate Program Director at Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita, Kansas. In that role, Dr. Doolittle held many responsibilities, including oversight of curriculum, oversight of two inpatient medicine teams, teaching inpatient, outpatient, ER and OB medicine to medical students and residents, helping with clinic operations for the residency clinic which included 54 residents and 20 faculty.
Prior to that position, he was a family medicine physician at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona, IA. Dr. Doolittle received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed his Family Medicine Residency training at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. 

Brittany Erickson was appointed to Vice President, MercyOne Medical Group-North Iowa, where she leads strategy and oversight of performance of employed Medical Group practices.
Erickson started her career with MercyOne in 2013 as an administrative fellow with Mercy Health Network and Trinity Health. She then worked as a project manager in clinical informatics during the Community Works implementation in the network. She was the clinic manager of Mercy Family Clinic – Sheffield and Sukup Health Solutions, while serving as ACO network manager. Most recently Erickson was a director with MercyOne Medical Group-North Iowa. Erickson earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and her Master of Health Administration from the University of Iowa.
